I removed the running boards from my 94 FJZ80 and attempted to add front mudflaps in their place but received the wrong parts. The mudflaps received have cutouts for the running boards. Ack! Can you help? This is what I ordered, where did I go wrong?

This is what the parts guy recommended. Do you know what the correct part numbers are?

He knows, trust me. He is just trying to get you using the search function. There are two types of mudflaps. The ones you got and the other type that doesn't have the cutouts. They are hard to find used because most 80s in the US came with the running boards.

Here is one option from a Mud vendor.

Any idea what the part numbers are for the correct ones so I can exchange them? The cruiseryard link doesn't have part numbers :-(

Did ya' try searching? I could do that and get the numbers, but you can do it too. There is a wealth of information here without having to start a new thread each time.

Yes. I did try but I failed. Sorry. This site doesn't work very well on mobile devices. The ads make my browser scroll crazy and sometimes it takes me to an ad site and starts beeping. In all the bedazzlement my search kung foo was wacked.

I found this one: front mud flap???

Looks like I need 76603-60021 and 76604-60021

Sorry for bugging you.

Yes, I believe those are the right numbers. This site works better on a laptop. I get the bedazzling too on mobile.

We(I) wasn't trying to give you a hard time, it's just that everything is ball bearings now with these websites and if you try to cram too many threads about the same thing into them, everything gets gummed up and then someone has to go in there with a broom handle and knock stuff loose until it starts clicking again.

My personal preference is to resurrect an old thread that has good information on the topic you are trying to search for, but doesn't quite answer your question. That way the answer stays in the same place as the other relevant information.

Welcome to the forum and to the LC club if this is your first experience with one. They are great trucks that we all really like. There is a lot of great info here and with a good attitude, a loose wallet and some tools, you can get your's in top shape by reading what others have already figured out and contribute things you've learned along the way.

Check out this site for oem part numbers. Fair prices for new.
Lots of other dealers online. 1994>Mud flappers.
Bought a pair @ih8mudclassifieds.com lol, used from a mud member for 80 bills FYI.

Better yet, use google to search and link into the mud results. I have not been the least bit impressed with the new software search function in MUD; however, I am a confirmed luddite. There are several threads related to the pre-95-97 mud flaps on here. @beno neglected a primary function on here though, he forgot to properly welcome you to the site.....:flipoff2:

Also, look up the thread that outlines who is a great vendor (LCPC, LLC) and will take excellent care of you and who is less than honest and knowledgeable with their business practices. Cruiseyard, that's Jason right? He is awesome and will make it right.
