Front Mud Flaps from a Prado 120?

Seems like if you use the entire length of the running board like orion did you still keep the door gaps filled, holes plugged and dirt out of there. That is what I am planning on. Like kbahus mentioned, can't leave that stuff exposed in the Midwest.

Picked up a $10 set of trimable rubber mud flaps from Amazon and mounted them on the front to try out. Not sure yet if I like the look. I figured why not give it a shot for $10.

I'll try to grab a pic here in a bit. 3 self tapping screws on each flap did the trick. There's quite a bit of real estate on the inner fender to pick where your screws go.

Thanks for the information and effort. Seems like a good inexpensive fix! For rock crawling mud flaps area often avoided. Where I live they are necessity 8 months out of the year.
 
I grabbed a pic. I just mounted the 3 screws in a triangle pattern. I don't really like that the wheel side of the flap is textured, but I doubt many people are looking. It was mainly a $10 experiment to see how it looked and functioned. I did have to trim some of the interior portion because my tires were running at full lock.
