Stupid topic here. I just changed to a state that requires a front license plate. I have a TJM aluminum front bumber with a winch. Anyone have any ways that they are mounting plates up front with a winch where the plate isnt hanging down and getting ripped off?

I lnow i could just drill holes and mount it up. But looking for ideas before i pull out the drill.

I have this:

Yeah put the drill away. On the 40’s wire rope 8274 I have a plate holder that snaps onto the fairlead, simply pull it off to winch. On the 80 I have a holder that is incorporated into the fair lead and I unscrew the plate before winching. Sorry no pics but both came from Amazon and work well.

Thanks guys. This give me some ideas. My bumped is old, dirty and trail dented. But i still didnt feel like drilling more holes.

I run Synthetic line so some of thos clip on systems wont work. But since my the fairleed is thin it makes it overall eaisier to mount a plate with something like the flip up ones. Thanks

Tuffy has versions for both fairleads.
