Had a really hard time finding suitable front bumper selection for my BJ70. I needed one that had suitable winch mount and aux light mounts. After much research and not finding anything without spending solid gold i was able to determine that any TJ/YJ 1987-2006 bunper fits exactly to the outside of the BJ70 frame. So I ordered a 24 inch piece of 2 x 4 inch heavy wall tubing. cut 2 lengths long enough to attach to my frame and allow room for bumper to bolt up. Perfect and easy. Note the angle across the two is extra winch support.

It took me a while to figure out what a TJ is.
You are a brave man for mentioning that type of vehicle here.

I’m psyched to see your finished product.

Yeah the J word right? I hesitated at that too but we're just talking aftermarket parts that can interchange. I've had my bumper all installed but got it off now for a fresh paint.

Source for the bumper?

I have pto winch and large oem chrome bumper.
Not sure if pto will work.
That's about the amount of $$ I like to spend though.

Sure wished I could have found a pto. I ended up with an Ausie 24 volt 12k lb rig. The winch mount plate sits level with the top of the frame, if that helps.

That's a good work around for the mounts. We used a TJ/YJ stubby bumper as a base too. The overall width was just about perfect.
