Shortbus Joe and I are doing the birfs on my 80. When we installed what I would call the axle seal (the one that separates the oil from the birf grease) we used the installer that fit the seal. It worked great but we started to look and we had seated it maybe a 32nd in past flush with the housing. If we had used the one size bigger installer the seal would have seated perfectly. Joe has the seals from his kit we could use if needed... I'm not really all to worried about it but figured I would ask since this is such a good info source and the factory seated it flush with the housing. Thanks

Romer Your the man I didn't really think any one would respond this quick. Thanks I saw the pic and it looked the same but though it might be the lighting. I have never had any problem if it is pushed a little to far on the fords and such but, I figured I would ask. Thanks Much

Mike
