No, your 72 should not have a B&C front axle unless someone swapped it out for an earlier one. I think the B&C went away circa 1968. Get the knuckle out from a later cruiser or mini truck and start swapping.

What do I need? the conversions all seem to point to taking apart the Birfields and putting the new onto the old. Do I need a complete mini and swap the third? I plan on putting the discs on just need to know what to purchase.
You need the knuckles out. No inner axels or third. This is in the FAQ as well. Good luck.

The FAQ all seem to have people take apart the axle shafts at the birfield and I assume they put the new outer onto the original inner.
