Well that was lots of fun, lots of grinding to get old engine mounts off. Some people should not be allowed to weld. I can't believe they actually held the motor in there.

I have the same ubolt plates, I plan on using the aft hole to move the axle a little more forwardNot sure how a perch like this would work on the front axle, but it could give you the 3 inches you’re after...

They are super easy to determine. Just measure the length of the spring from eye to eye along the arch of the spring and that will be your maximum distance. Add a little to that for safety. Axle will normally lined up around 27-28 inches from the fixed perch pointCool build. I'm looking at the Liquid Iron sliders and Tahoe springs for one of my builds. Curious on how you determined placement of the perches and sliders. Did you tack them in and see where they sat on it's own weight?
