Fresh rebuild strange knock (1 Viewer)

FYI for anyone that cares and ever stumbles upon this post with the same sound, it turns out to be a meshing issue with the crank gear to oil pump drive gear.

A warped tooth, slightly chipped.

She now runs perfect with boat loads of fresh build torque.

Yeah not sure how it happened . Would be hard to be a gear meshing issue as when your up the front of the motor installing them there really isn't any way to get it wrong, When installing the PS pump I was manually rotating the crank to allow it to mesh in smoothly.

Regardless the shop went above and beyond and sorted every thing out, very happy. The torque of the new motor is epic combined with the NOMAD heavy duty valve body for the auto, the shifts are way better.
