I’m trying to do the rotors and brakes but I can’t seem to get the free wheel hub thing off. Not a single cone washer will come out

I always use a tiny chisel and hit the cone washers directly on each side and then in the split of the cone of Washer. Then I tap the hub body with a brass hammer (gently!). Rinse and repeat. They eventually come out but can be stubborn.

you hit them on the top or sides.

I hit the WASHER on the sides and the top and the split. Anything to break the bond between washer and hub and stud. Then tap hub body to shake them loose. You need a pretty small chisel with a tip that can get purchase on the washer itself.

Penetrating oil doesn’t hurt.

The threaded holes in those flanges are for pusher bolts.

Also put the nut back on until its flush with the stud, hit with brass drift.

You can also put a brass hammer on the stud and give the brass hammer a smack with a BFH.

I have always just loosened the acorn nuts until they are just slightly off of the split cone washer then a firm hit with a ball hammer on the top of the acorn nut. Don't hit it like it just insulted your mom, hit it like it owes you money and needs to go to work in the morning to earn that money it owes you. If you don't know the difference between a 1 uggha hit with a hammer vs a 3 ugga uggha hit use a brass hammer or drift instead of the ball peen hammer.

Like others mentioned above. I used a small flat blade screwdriver to separate the hub and gasket as well. The bolt method worked great here but we have almost no rust issues.

Yeah I have barely any rust but I did get them out with a brass punch
