Got them installed...Way beefy!!! Anyone on the fence about these would only need to take a look at them sitting next to an OEM tie-down bracket and the Paypal info would start flowing over the interweb. Thanks again Dan!

Paul, any pics?

Mine showed up Monday. Burly and purdy! Maybe I will have time to install today. Thanks Dan.

FRBv2L*...*FRBv2L includes longer bolts to fit ARB Sahara and Ironman Bumpers.

Sorry...I've never looked at a 4R. If the OEM lash down hooks are located bottom side of the frame and they attach with M14-1.50 bolts with a bolt center spacing of 60mm they should work fine.

PM'd.

Dan,

I have the FRB from the group buy. Is there any way the hardware for the spressoFAB FRB's would work? I would assume the longer bolts would fit but not sure. If anybody is reading this and has replaced the long OEM frame bolts with the allen head bolts please PM me.

Thanks!

Two please... PM me your PayPal info.

^ PM sent. Thank you!

Dan - have you had any customers install these with stock bumpers? Any feedback or photos for that application? I'm assuming these simply replace the factory hooks, yes?

I just installed a set up-front on my UZJ100 w/ stock bumper. Very clean install. But, if you buy, chase the threads, as OEM were installed with thread locking compound. Definitely use shackles with'm but even with you may get some rubbing on bottom of bumper from recover strap, but thats expected. Will find photo for you.

For those in the SW, that dark brown coloration on the front skid plate is called rust :)

Marc,

Expanding upon what REDrum offered: Yes the FRBv2/FRBv2L mount to the same frame mounted captive nuts as the OEM tie-down hooks. They will also mount to the same on the rear of the frame.

OEM bumpers as well as some aftermarket bumpers that have a lower "skirt" may rub on the recovery strap/winch line especially if the stuck rig is nose down relative to the recovery vehicle.

I'm sorry I don't have any photos of these mounted with an OEM bumper in place...

NOTE: Recently someone who bought these realized his frame mounted captive nuts were M16 size. More than likely, although not 100% confirmed, the shop that installed his bumpers probably had issues with corrosion on the OEM M14 captive nuts and had to go oversize. These brackets are not designed for oversize bolts.

My front bumper isn't pristine. It has some scars from a really tight spot on Elephant Hill and a bad spotter. As long as the strap angle isn't going to rip the bumper off, I'm ok. I don't think the strap would be routed any differently if I was using the stock hook anyway. And I don't wheel hard enough or often enough to put it at much risk anyway.

Interested in a pair and even more so if shipping is free but doubt it as I am in the UK. So long as they would fit an 03+ ARB Delux Winch Bar let me know the cost.

Yes they will fit the '03-'07 ARB Deluxe Winch Bar. PM me your shipping info along with an e-mail address and I'll get a shipping quote along with a total for you. The free shipping on a pair of FRBv2's is for continental USA orders...sorry about that!

Thank you,

Dan Streight

Just picked up a commercial Ironman4x4 for my '96 since they were having a good sale on bumpers and winches, I know you said they would fit but just making sure the FRBv2L is what I need right?
