Frame Weld- dumb question? (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

This may be a dumb question, so openly mock me if appropriate. I'm looking at a 2014 LX570 and got pictures of the undercarriage to check for frame rust. It looks clean, but I noticed a long weld seam on the frame and that feels... odd? Would love someone smarter than me to take a look. Thanks!

Normal. Our "fully boxed frame" is made from C-shaped pieces welded together, plus this allows them to combine different types of steel in different areas as needed.
