Here is a picture of the recovery bracket with ARB Bullbar. My friend owns a machine shop so I had him mill a little material off the bracket to clear the forward bolt.
The ARB hardware worked for me.
How deep are the ARB bolts seated? How far out can you unscrew them before they fall out? I did the math and if your set up is like mine, you've only got about 5 mm of thread holding your bull bar on. I could do that too if I don't use the lock washers & regular washers, but I don't think that's too safe to be putting tens of thousands of lbs on 5 mm of 8.8 bolt in a "walking" or "running" tug. That's why I'm holding off going that route with the ARB bolts.
If (and only if) you do have good (safe) seating of the mounting bolts, I'd love to see those brackets in action with the new ARB bull bar w/ spacer!!! Hook up a double line with your winch using the bracket and let us know how it works! Also try a tug of your vehicle from another vehicle and then try a tug using your vehicle on another.
I'm still holding out hope for the new ARB kit coming monday. The brackets look NICE.
