I don't understand the additional mounting Dwon is showing or what problem ARB is trying to fix? It seems like a "fix" of some sort?

I think the spacer is in place to eliminate having to trim off that little tab at the front of the frame. Since there's an air pocket between the frame and mounting bracket for the bumper of about 20 mm I think they're worried about shearing off the bolts. So they put in a third front bolt that doesn't really secure anything as it's not tightening against anything it just fits through the end cap to the frame, but it would keep the bull bar from completely falling off the front of the rig if the two bottom bolts fail due to the shear force resulting from the gap.

I'm waiting to hear from two of the people who asked for brackets. Maybe you are subscribed to this thread.

I just found out that I can't get the correct size bolts to attach the factory tow hook or this awesome d-ring bracket to my LC since the ARB bull bar has a spacer. The bolt size I need is M14 x 1.5 x 110mm. No one knows where to get it or if it's even made. I've checked with Fastenal & McMaster-Carr.

So this means I have no way to attach these super cool brackets, forwards or backwards. If anyone else has one of the new ARB bull bars with the 1" spacer or is considering one you should keep this in mind.

well when i get my arb combo bar ill make sure to put these on because im prettttty sure the correct bolt can be found if you look.

If you can find it please let me know!!! Like I said I've looked. Fastenal & McMaster-Carr contacted their suppliers and they couldn't find it.

Maybe you'll get lucky and the bar for the LX won't have the spacers so you can use the ARB kit bolts.

They are being made. They were slower than I thought, but they are cheap at least. Hopefully, I should be shipping them in a week or so.

thank you dog, I was wondering how long it would take. I ordered custom shoes from nike and they were made and shipped from vietnam all within a couple weeks haha.

the colors of my shoes match my truck actually.

You've got problems:D

i didnt plan it actually, i just realized it yesterday when i got the shoes and i walked out to my truck. Realized the lower "molding" color on the shoes matches the molding on the truck. Plus the mesh part is the same color as the interior!

honestly, i didnt plan it....but now i am planning on ordering a pair of grey shoes with yellow shox and yellow laces to match our porsches grey interior with yellow stitching/seatbelts.

nice shoe

Is that a 285/65/16 E width?
Did you get them siped?
Looks like just a rear locker on that?
When is Slee coming out with a front bumper for that thing?

sorry, it's just the wine talking

actually stock tread pattern seems like they will do well as an A/T shoe, but ill be using them 95% on pavement, some offroading here and there. I asked about getting them siped from the factory, but the Vietnamese couldn't understand what i was asking. They did install OME shocks in the back though, much better then stock footlocker shocks.

Oh and its got A-TRAC actually, way better then lockers.

Here is a picture of the recovery bracket with ARB Bullbar. My friend owns a machine shop so I had him mill a little material off the bracket to clear the forward bolt.

The ARB hardware worked for me.

see, i knew it could be done! Nice

Glad to see you could do it. The kit that I got won't allow it. Maybe the spacer is bigger than yours. I don't know, but I can't even get a tow hook attached with the included hardware and they don't make bolts long enough: 110mm. The bolts that come with the kit are 80mm so you must have a thinner spacer between the bar mounting bracket and frame.

It looks good on there!

ARB is sending me a new bull bar because the powder coating was defective on my first one. It arrived with rust in the weld seams. Hopefully the new one has the same hardware as yours and I can get the brackets. We'll see.

Dwon -- for the bolts, washers you might be looking for, try below.

They have 100 mm but it requires 110 mm for the factory tow hook. The 120 may work for the brackets however. I'll have to do some measuring when the new bull bar comes in.

I'm hoping the fit kit has longer bolts so I can attach the factory hook without any worries. If not I'll do some more measuring.
