Hello,

Have a couple of questions for you all. I'm having a grounding issue with my pig and can only find that it is grounded from the battery to the engine. Where should the frame ground come from and go to? And also, where should the body ground come from and go to?

Thanks

Brian,

Try searching dtrain's "grounds and electrical" thread in this forum.....would provide more info but I'm almost ready to leave work so I gotta git. Hope this helps, Dave

unless you want it completely stock looking. just run any old strap from the engine to the frame, where it'll fit, usually down by the starter works.

just make sure the contact areas are good and clean.

or in a pinch to trouble shoot, you can just use a set of jumper cables.

FWIW the OEM ground cable has a saddle connector that's grounds the body by using one of the bolts that secures the battery tray to the inner fender and then runs to the block where it is secured by a bolt to either the motor mount or alternator bracket (2 pigs with 2 different set-ups so I don't know which is original)
