The ProFenders are valved perfectly out of the box. The Fox 2.0 IFP are NOT valved properly. It's just the wrong shock for the vehicle. I'm sure the 2.5's are fabulous.

This information is not correct. Fox came out with new valving for the 2.0 for a loaded 100 series months ago. I sent mine back and they revalved them free of charge. Ride is more firm with no sway in corners and much more stable on the freeway.

Just spoke with the service dept. (before I send my shocks in) and confirmed what ckkone said. The -066 and -009 are made for a stock vehicle, BUT there is new revalving for the -066 and -009 to accommodate a loaded vehicle. They will tweak them based on what you have loaded/installed. Was also told it would be done free of charge-just have to ship them back...

Can anyone confirm the age of their 2.0 Fox shocks at time of revalve? I purchased a set last summer and while they have been consistent and performed well while unloaded, I completely agree that once the 100 is loaded, they are not up to the task.

Sent mine back for the free re-valve. Also having the CD adjuster installed.

First re-valve is free to original owners. I believe it's standard policy. Email Joe. He has been very helpful.

Thanks guys, I'll give them a ring tomorrow and see what can be worked out.

You guys will love the re-valve, it's really a night and day difference. Also the customer service I received from Fox was second to none. I had an issue with one of the rear shocks after they sent it back to me, they sent me an overnight label fixed the problem and overnighted it back.

Not sure why they want to charge you $150 per shock. I do know they are aware of the threads on this forum so maybe they have seen you do nothing but tell everyone how unhappy you were, maybe you should have contacted them first before venting to the forum.

They were never incorrectly valved, they just have a new version better suited for a fully loaded truck. Not sure why you would hope for anything you either order them for a stock truck or a heavier loaded truck since they sell two versions of the shock.

The rest if my previous post is pure speculation nothing factual.

I contacted them in July before making my trip outwest (shocks were 1 month old). They said they couldn't revalve them due to the design. I called in September and magically they can revalve them but for $150. I have up for a few months, I called John at ORW and he said their wasn't a re valve or upgrade yet. All of a sudden everybody is getting free re-valves. When I give them my part number they still want some insane amount of money. I never gave them my name, yet they consistently shoo me away. So I bought a set of ProFenders. I'm not going to put Fox out of business, and their business practice atleast with me has made me sick.

I called yesterday and they told me the same thing after providing a part # and date of purchase. Apperently after 3 months I'm on my own. They even have $25 on their site.

The problem couldn't have been only with a "loaded" truck. The only extra weight I have on mine is a TJM front bumper (no winch) and sliders -> less extra weight than an adult human passenger. I will check into a re-valve, as it would definitely help. Thanks for the contact info. Otherwise, I have $400 worth of useless shocks littering the garage floor.

Hmmm, I also have -067 for the rear, and -066 for the front listed on my ORW invoice, both listed for 1.5" lift, which is what I'm running. What part is the -009? Stock height?

I talked with Fox for some time today and got quite a bit of clarification on what is going on with the "bouncy" shocks. Since there are many threads with information spewed through out, I am waiting on a email from Fox with the part numbers and batch codes. Mine are going in for a re-valve, apparently the CS reps I was talking too recently were not understanding the shock that I had and the issues.

I will be posting the information soon regarding the issues. Fox has been getting slammed with phone calls about this, so I hope to alleviate some of the confusion on what valving you have. All it takes is the right person on the phone to explain and get everything dealt with :)

Ck it seems like if they do business that way then why would anyone want to buy the shocks to hope they are valved correctly. I WAS Interested but the way they have treated Nick...that is showing there true colors. Still looking

It seems that I was not reaching the correct people at Fox. I did reach the tuning dept. a few minutes ago and got quite a bit of information.

"I would increase your rebound to #90 and change to piston to 1x .070 bleed hole." Is the recommendation for my re-valve.
