Out of embarassment, I will be turning in my yellow shirt and no longer hang out with you guys. But there is a few things I need to do before I go:

1) wait for Jackson to finish his English as a second language classes
2) buy Kevin some non-Costco shoes
3) Smash Michaels camera and lense
4) Pick up my water can from Phil
5) Cut off Brandon's rediculous goatee

This might take me awhile.:flipoff2:

How is it possible that you got stuck there?

Actually it's very easy. If you look where the arrows are, that's debris washed there, the water level was that high very recently. We were the first dumb enough to go in there with trucks after the flood, all of the tracks are ours.

The water was still moving pretty good, all of that sand had been recently moved. The sand bars are pretty solid, in the water it's very soft. When you hit a soft spot, your momentum, throttle, air pressure, etc, better be right or your going down, right now.

He wasn't bad stuck, but much more could have been a problem, the only good pull spot was the relatively soft sand bar. The best action was to give a quick tug. The far tires were in the water, so continuing to sink as it sat.

This could be a while. I have a busy schedule and have no plan to teach such class in the near future.

I dunno...in the midwest, when we ran snowmobiles over open stretches of river, we just pinned the throttle. I think you guys were going too slow. Maybe you should have hammered it and not worried about the plastic parts. :)))))

there wasn't a whole lot of space to hammer it - the sand bar was at best a football field long, less wide
