[Living in the Past]

FJ62 had two different radios in the US. 88 and 89/90. I replaced my 89 radio with a JBL unit from around 2000 LC. Premium sound system with a separate amplifier. Mounted the amplifier above the glove using the two stud that are by the perforated holes. 89/90 is a more modern face and close looking to what I installed. I'll never advance past CD to compressed music and happy not have that option.

I know the DIN size is the same for both. I'm just looking for a factory look I can use. My plan is to use/fix the radio as-is, but use the wiring/modules from a newer stereo (or just use a bluetooth adapter) so it will accept bluetooth. I'll also include an SSD or micro SD large enough to hold my entire music library (currently between 120-14-GB). I haven't taken the measurements yet, but I think that LCD screen is about the same size as the original ipod. I've got one of those that I retrofitted with a better battery and a 128GB SSD.
