So I think i've finally isolated the source for my floor mats getting soaking wet after big rains. After washing my car the other day I noticed water at the floor-mat again. Looked inside of the front passenger side window and behold it was wet in the corner inside the car... Pushing on the windshield from inside makes the water move back and forth in the crack. What do I do now? Is it just a matter of adding some silicon? Can't believe after all the checking of sunroof and a-pillar leaks that it ended up being this...!?

Too bad your windshield doesn’t have a big crack on it! Then your insurance would cover a new gasket and glass IF you have glass coverage. I have a crack growing slowly across mine so I will have to get it replaced soon. I DO have glass coverage.

Black silicone or Black urethane like NP1 will seal it up just fine. Lift gasket around the paint edge and apply a small bead. My preference is urethane. That’s what is used during windshield installs. Have a roll of paper towels and some WD 40 for cleaning up.
