Hi guys I'm new here and hoping to pick up a LC very soon. I found what seems to be the perfect one for me online and am very unsure about the dealer. They are in Atlanta, GA and I am in Texas so I can't just drive over to make sure they are legit. So my question is has anyone dealt with Instant Motors Group, LLC in Atlanta? Or is their anyone in Georgia that can vouch that they are a legitimate dealer. Thanks and any help is appreciated.

How close are they to AAC garage? I think thats what they are called. They can drive it there for inspection. Can comment on dealer...

I'm in the ATL area and could swing by to look at the truck if you want. Not saying I can give it a 100% clean bill of health but could at the very least see that it's real. I can't even find the truck listed on there site or anywhere else.

The "dealer" seems pretty sketchy. It gets "" because I can't find them in Atlanta. They have a website, with a 678 (Atlanta) area code, but the pics of the cars were not shot in Atlanta. Looks like Florida. They also don't show the 100. But they do show this...

A 2016 4x4 Limited with 1,319 miles for $28,590 (really? 590?) That's about $12,000 below book.

If the 100 exists, and if it's in Atlanta, and if the price (and mileage, etc.) is as stated, I'd have it taken to ACC Garage | FULL SERVICE AND MODIFICATIONS FOR YOUR TOYOTA AND LEXUS - they're in Atlanta and one of the country's top Land Cruiser shops for a pre-purchase inspection.

My wife's '16 T4R Limited is 2wd with 25K miles, and it's worth 28K. AND - that is not the right grill, it's been painted. The black bar under the sombrero should be chrome, not black. So something is fishy about that T4R, to me. Might be a Hurricane Matthew damaged car, that damage would not show up on Carfax.

Do a google search on the image. It shows up on a site called autoquid. Arkansas owner sold on ebay April, 2017. Gives some history from the owner.
Instant Motors Group LLC looks like a scam. Red 1957 Chev convertible for $29,900? Nope. At least not the one pictured for sale.

You may want to pose this question in the clubhouse section. Upstate cruisers or Georgia cruisers could most likely answer any questions or even check the cruiser out.

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is...

This must be a scam! I saw it last night also on cars.com, the phone number does not work. 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser For Sale In South Lyon | Cars.com

The car is listed as in Michigan. I emailed them and got an email back from Robert McCarthy, who has no signature, and left no phone number. He is from "instant Motors Group", in Atlanta. How the hell did the car go from Michigan to Atlanta?? What sales man does not give you a phone number to get in touch with them?

I then did a reverse google search, sold on Ebay. Here is the car's story: 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser Base Sport Utility 4-door 4.7l - Used Toyota Land Cruiser for sale in Little Rock, Arkansas | autoquid.com

Sold on Ebay in April 2017 for $24,000, they cut and pasted parts of the descriptions: 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser Base Sport Utility 4-Door | eBay

I can't figure out how to report a scam on Cars.com. Wasting out time, piece of s***s.

Just one more follow up - I called the number on their website. Total scam. 678-666-0143.

Having family in Atlanta, I figured someone would look at it first...

Thank you for your email. I know what it's like to be the person shopping for a car, which is why I strive to customize my customer service as much as possible for my customers. I'm here to help on your terms and your time-frame.

As said before we are dealers based in Atlanta GA, the vehicle is parked on our car lot. There are two ways we can sell this vehicle to you, one of them is to meet at our location and exchange the car/documents and cash, the other one is to have it shipped to your requested address ( home or work), fully insured and offer 5 days for test drive and inspection after the car arrives.

If you decide to pick up the car, please note that you must reserve it first, with a refundable deposit of 30% of selling price, by bank wire transfer. Once we receive confirmation from the bank that the deposit is secured into our business account we will park the vehicle in the backyard of the car lot and put a "sold" sign on it. After, we will arrange pick up date with you and have all the documents ready.

If you have it shipped please keep in mind that we will need a fully refundable deposit of 30%, as well, before we load the vehicle and put it in transit, and the rest of the amount, 70% after you have confirmation of shipment and you track the status of it online; you will have 24-48 hours to wire the 70% of selling price into one of our bank accounts. All the documents will come with the car, including title, insurance and dealer's plates.

In both cases, our company will issue a sales contract, once you sign it we will make preparations for pick up or delivery and also prepare the payment invoice for the deposit.

The delivery takes 5-7 days and you will have 5 days to inspect it, inspection day starts on the arrival day. If something is not as expected or the car has issues, documents missing or anything different from what we stated, you need to notify us and we will fully refund you (24-48 hours from the time we get your refund request). We offer the buyer's insurance cover, your vehicle is insured up to $50,000.00 or purchase amount, if this is lower.

Exact same email I received. I called ACC Garage and they have never heard of them. I asked the dealer to take it to ACC Garage and they stopped all correspondence. O well....The search continues.
