A friend of mine has an 88 62 in Anderson. Hasn't posted it for sale yet. Asked if I could put it here first. Asking 8,500 230,000 miles.

The info my buddy emailed:

It has 230,000 (or so) miles..
transfercase/axles/4x4 system work great..
Runs great.. always starts.
HVAC components are there, but currently not working.
I purchased 3 yrs ago from a guy in Charlotte off Craigslist
It has typical leaks. I keep oil, brake fluid, and transmission fluid in garage and occasionally top off.
I ordered and installed a 3rd row seat for my kids from Home - Little Passenger Seats
(cost over $1000) and will stay with the truck.
I ordered a shoulder harness seatbelt kit from a 1989 ($300) but haven't installed it yet.
Driver's window currently not working, but I have a spare motor and relay to install for the fix..
Does have some rust.. shown in pics. I did have a guy give me a quote ($2200) to fix all rust spots, and paint the whole truck.
Has really nice winch bumper.
Shackle lift/ new bushings.
31x10.5/15 BFG/ATs - Lots of tread left. Were brand new when I bought the truck. I'd guess less that 15k miles on them.

Overall, solid truck. Lot's of fun! Just does take occasional tinkering that I don't have time for. If someone wanted to invest $3000-$4000, it would be a really nice Cruiser..

Would love to get the name & number of the guy who quoted the paint & body!

Hey guys. Chris Clemow here. In Anderson. An 80 guy. 97 Black Collectors Edition (stock) Been trying to find time to get more plugged in to the Upstate Cruisers group. Hope to get to know several of you soon. Listed several parts on Craigslist I need to get out of my garage. Oak seats, taillights, front corner lights, front grill, refinished wheels set, oak visors, etc. You'll find pictures by searching cclemow here too. Let me know if any of you want to make a deal. Also leads me to ask when is the next swap meet?

Hey Chris! Look forward to meeting you....@trollhole typically holds a great swap meet at his shop in the summer. Will check with him to see if we can confirm a date and get on the calendar.

Since the Anderson contingent of the club seems to be growing, you guys should schedule some local gatherings and those of us in GVegas & surrounding areas can look to attend!

Hey guys, I'm starting to build up some recovery gear as I currently have zero apart from my factory jack and a shovel. If anyone has stuff laying around that they would like to donate or sell at a deeply discounted rate please let me know. Thanks!

Maybe not, that sound pretty cheap even for a half decent repaint, never mind cutting out rust.

That may have been a special price for him. He's a pastor at our church that knows several guys with their own shops. I'll see what I can find out.

As I suspected, special price for my buddy. He had no idea how low that quote was. Now considering taking the guy up on that quote. Maybe He'll keep it and we'll have one more Andersonite in UC!

Talked with Marshall and the parts swap will be the weekend after July 4th at his shop.....will be creating a flyer and getting word out to all local clubs to maximize turnout!
