Looking for a rear seat for a 40 that will handle a couple of car seats. Finally got my brakes lights working and 40 tagged and actually driving it.
I keep eyeing the CCOT Besttop seat but its always sold out when I look and also don't love the cost of shipping.

I'm out of town until the 11th, but I have an 80's vintage rear 40 seat in my shop. The seat bottom lifts so you can store you're loot in the base.

Sounds like a Con-Ferr, those are pretty solid to mount car seats

@a_traut_man , yes, I believe so. It came with my '79, which also came with a Con-Ferr roof rack that weighs about 5 tons, so that checks out @tucker74.

WTB - FZJ80 Third Members...I daily my 95 (non-Elocker) and would like to regear my diffs but I don't want to be out a vehicle for longer than necessary. Does anyone have a front or rear (or both) third members they'd be willing to sell me or loan out? I know loan out sounds funny but I'd happy to return my stock thirds after doing the gear swap....also can anyone recommend a shop around San Marcos that can do the work correctly? I've been pointed to the Twisted Axle in San Antonio but would welcome recommendations from this group. Thank you!

Can't help on the third members but I live in SMTX. I've taken my 100 to Japanese Auto on the NB I-35 feeder just past Aquarena Springs for some work years ago. But now I take it to AJ for work I can't do or need done before I can get to it. Japanese Auto isn't a LC specialty shop per se so I'm not sure if he'd be able to do what you need but you can check him out.
