I'm sorry but that thing is a rust bucket and not worth 1/2 of the asking price for a 40 year old car. :meh:

Ditto.

In addition to my parts list above, I also have a variety of driveshafts (sorry D-C shafts not for sale), a skidplate (I think it's a 3 spd fj-40), an oem wheel for disk brake 40s (has been spray painted), and some fj60 mechanical parts that Onur has first refusal on. Send me a message if you want more info on any of these.

I also have a pair of tan leather 3rd row seats from an 80 for free. The catch--they have no hardware. I got them for the hinges and quick releases, so those parts are gone. LMK if interested.

want to build an a/c system for your 40?
I pulled this from a '76 years ago, it was mated to a york compressor at the time. I'm cleaning up and don't want it. I have no idea what is serviceable or not. It is made to replace the factory heater duct and blow through the heater vent. It includes a piece that attaches to the vent to direct the air. Some of the flaps in that vent are missing or broken. The evaporator looks corroded. The blower motor turns freely by hand. There are two switches, one I assume is fan speed the other a thermostat.
I also have a york bracket that was on a 1F engine. It mounted on the passenger side, IIRC and includes an idler pulley and a 2 belt pulley that bolts to the harmonic balancer. I don't know if this would fit or work on a 2F.

FYI:

There is an 86 (IIRC) 4 Runner, SAS, SOA, roof rack, front and rear bumpers, fog lights, M8000, etc. at American. It was a trade in. American gave them $2K for the value. Don't know the selling price.

Real clean rig.

Selling our Sequoia since we downsized...
2001 Limited, 4WD. 153xxx miles. Truck is in great shape, looks like it has half the miles that it does. No issues except the power ant doesnt work, the radio still works fine though. Good tires, fantastic interior and a great ride. Been getting 17.5 MPG lately and have seen 21 on the highway.
13k OBO. Ping me for questions or if you want to see it...

WTF! I've got the same motor in my Hundy. Why do you get 5 mpg better? Is it not full-time 4WD? Does it not weigh 5,500 lbs?

You actually don't have the same motor. The specs for a UZJ100 are different tan the Sequoia's 2UZ-FE.

I did not realize this. I had heard that there were some differences in the timing belt replacement procedure but figured a 2UZ-FE was the same, regardless of the frame and body wrapped around it. The VVT-i heads and 5spd AT didn't come along until ~2004, right. Being Daisy's is a 2001, it wouldn't have that.

Ahh the big tree is not AWD...
Saves a bit on mileage.

The best I've ever gotten is 16. That was highway with nothing strapped to the top and not too much extra weight. Typical city is 13. 17.5 vs 13 is more than 30% better.

Ok, I'm done whining.

Looking for:

fiberglass roof cap for a 40. Someone stole one from my friend George's driveway, he needs another.

What condition? There is one on the side of my house. It will need some work. Some PO thought it would be cool to cut it and have just the cab covered. He put it back together with some mesh tape and crapppy adhesive.
