Nobody seems to want the Subie, might have to go and see what carmax will give me for it. I just want to be rid of it and Im ready for my 80!

Hey all - i just found that this is where all the cruiser people hang out and i was wondering if anyone has some cruiser 9.5" 3rds or even a complete front axle around they would be interested in selling.

Dropped the price on the Subie, its down to $20500!! Somebody is going to get a good deal. There might be a little room left in it to flex for a buyer, so I guess that its still OBO. Too much flex leaves me with no upgrade money for my cruiser:crybaby:

Is there a particular model front axle you're looking for (40, 55, 60 or 80 series)? I don't know enough about the gear size to know if 9.5" defines what series it would have been in.

9.5's came in Front & Rear FJ40, FJ55, FJ60, FJ62, and rear of FJ80, FZJ80, HDJ80, HZJ80.
For a complete axle i'm looking for the 60/62 just for the bigger wms.

I have a 1983 2F engine with 163K miles on it. I pulled it out of my FJ60 while it running just fine (not recommended) and dropped a small block ford in there. I know, sacrilege. I'd like to sell to someone who could use it. No reasonable offer refused. It's pretty much complete, 10,000 vacuum lines and all but, nothing from the cat back. I'm not interested in parting it out.

I know of an '88 FJ62, with ARB lockers front & rear, kaymar rear bumper, Warn 8k and some sort of OME lift. going for around $2500 I think. I was looking at it Saturday (shhh.... don't tell Molly) and the body has no rust. High on the miles, but for the price it would make a great project vehicle.
 
Don't spread that around too much. It'll make it hard for me to get $4,500 for my non-lifted, non-ARB'd, non-bumpered, non-Warned truck.
 
Does anyone need or want OEM hub caps for a 40 or a rear cargo mat for a 80 (brown, new to match mine) I don't think I will use or need them. The hubs are nice and shiny on the outside but surface rust on the inside (I have a gallon of phosphoric acid to clean the inside you can have). For HDC members: 25 for the hubcaps, and 75 for the cargo mat. Then they go to mud for the average price and then to ebay. Just to let you guys know first. I just want to make more room and not have "Cruiser Crap" filling up my house.

1996 LX450, OME lift, 33" tires, diff locks, 198K miles, $7500.

anyone have a set of 16x12, 16.5x9.75, or 17x10 rims?

i'm getting new shoes for the cruiser later this week and am deciding if i should go to bigger wheels or not.

Bad news and good news. The bad news is a friend of my sister's husband died. The good news is that he was a Cleveland freak and has about a dozen from 351 up in his garage, all built and dyno'd, on the shelf. Estimated value of the parts is over $100k. She's looking for about $2500 each for them. Also has a couple of Windsors They're in Las Cruces. PM me for more info. If you're looking for something to replace that tired xF engine, why settle for a wimpy Chevy 350?
