I have a bent FZJ80 elocked front axle (8” HP) and destroyed ring gear. I want to upgrade to a 9.5” elocked. I am looking for an elocked 3rd 9.5”. Will trade my elocked 3rd and housing or 3rd plus cash or just cash. Or looking for an aftermarket housing for an 8” HP with elocker cutout. Side note, if anyone knows about a shop in ABQ that could straighten and Truss/gusset my bent front, that option would work also so that I can get back to wheeling.

Not exactly sure. I have been having issues with the seals for 3 years. Two years ago in Moab I took a right turn, unlocked front but in 4low locked, at about a snails pace and the front ring gear sheared. I assumed it was due to years of abuse. I got the ring and pinion replace then at the 2021 chile challenge, we were going down a steep hill in 4low with the front unlocked, took a slight right turn and blew up the ring gear again. I also ripped the mounting bracket off the driver side front axle. At this point I am assuming it’s bent. I have 5.29s, 3.1 TCase gears and 40” with chrome moly axles. It’s been a slow build but getting there.

There is a user (toyotatechnical) on Instagram over in Texas that is going to pull parts from 3 80s, maybe reach out to him to see if he spots a locked front axle?
