Rust-free (relatively) 60 for sale

Happened to be down at the Toyota dealer in Victoria yesterday. They just got a 1987 60 with 5spd and 2H on trade. Body looked rust free with nice paint (light brown)

Bad points were the 2/3 synchro is going, the air filter was filthy like it hadn't been changed in many years (lots of grit in the bottom of the box), oil leak off the valve cover and probably coolant somewhere too (maybe just at the hose junctions). Truck stinks of dog. Fluid leak off master cylinder causing rust on the housing.

Oil was thin molasses:D

Still, once they've gone over it, it should look a lot better and the body really was nice. No price when I saw it.

Victoria, BC, Victoria, TX, or where?

still have this for sale

Ebay

Why, yes it is my rig-Thanks! It did not even cross my mind to post that link. I have been trying to figure out how to make my image files smaller so I could post some pics, so thanks again!

The Case mogs he's advertising are based on the 406 chassis- short wheel base, max speed about 46mph. Originally came with a hydraulic hoe on the rear deck. The case models are really set up to work. To make a trail rig, it would be much cheaper to buy a normal 404/406/416.

By the way, Dokas that can be readily imported to the US are 406(swb) or 416(lwb) only, with a few rare exceptions. Expect to pay 20-40k for one in good condition.

I'll go down a check it out tomorrow. I've dealt with them a lot with my other LC's over the years.

I am very interested in your truck. I live in Ontario (Specifically Kitchener-Waterloo area). From your ad I see that the cruiser is in Vermont. You must have imported it from Canada in the past, would it be difficult to bring back across? please reply or email me at cknische@engmail.uwaterloo.ca. thank you for your time.

Sincerely
Curtis Knischewsky
