It's difficult to tell from those pics. I e-mailed the seller on Friday for better pics and additional info but haven't heard back. My :princess: liked it.

Nice Hj75 on trader

I came across this truck while on trader.
I'm going to go take a look at it this week end.
I'm not in the market for a 25k$ truck, but just curious.
Here is the link : http://www.trader.ca/powerpage/details.aspx?vlotid=92772&adid=4976589
It has extremely low milleage, wich suggest it was used in a mine or something.
It also has a winch.
Pretty good looking over all I'd say, the interior looks kind of shabby..
Hope someone from here gets it!

It kind of amazes me how these things keep escaping from the mines when they are not supposed to:D
If it was an aussie mine truck it would be considered "extra mint condition" at 49000klm:D

Good luck...I did take a quick look at the one in Delaware (early Novemberish ?) and it was fairly rust free. The brown one on Rt. 1, I saw at +/- 55 mph so I can't say anything other than it was there with a sign in it that said for sale. You may want to check with Wayne at UpnOver in Aston to see what he may know is out there.

John and I were only talking ballpark numbers. He told me he would price it at $20K-ish and that's close to where it apparently it ended up. Yes, that is it on Ebay. He did a much better job of describing it. Don't know anything about the import deal. I travel so much every town starts to look alike. Some have better seafood, though.

re.............POST

It has been discussed before but, masteryota, you may potentially add an important input for the benefit of the forum.

Hope those 49000kms were not underground mine miles, but please do post up your pictures and report here. Interested people from far away can then decide if they would want to make the trip to buy it.

Not really a tech post, but I will leave this here for a few days then move it to Vehicles For Sale section. Certainly your efforts would be appreciated

ya 49,000 kms.....but 8000hrs of engine hours.

I have seen 14,000kms and 5000hrs rigs.....thats like 500,000kms for highway 100kmh or if you take a town/highway average of 60kmh it would be 300,000kms.

But it wasn't city it was underground.......

is the truck work 25,000-49,000 bucks.....sure if you want it bad enough.

I would rather buy a JDM engine and convert what you have.

But the trucks are nice.

I went to see the truck today.
The truck is already sold. I asked the seller if it was an ex-mine truck and he said yes.
The overall condition was'nt worth 25k$ It definitely needs to be re-furbish in lots of of places.
The frame alone did'nt look like it was from a 1997 truck, it looked more like my old toyota pick-up frame, all rusted out, straight, but rusty.
It had rust where my 1985 bj70 did'nt have any, like front fenders.
The rear box was of good quality, well built with 3 side fold down.
The interior was pretty much all torned up, torned seat, with dirty floor, as if they did'nt took the time to wash it before putting on sale.
Overall I would'nt have payed the 25k$ price he was asking for, but someone else did. That just shows out how people have faith in the land-cruiser name.
I'm sure with a new paint, a sand-blasted and re-painted frame this truck could last for eternity, but right now, on salty roads I give it 2 or 3 more winter as is.
So, when are the imported hj75 coming up? I'd sure love one!

Matt

No, it's not JD green.

This Land Cruiser has been sold.

Have fun with your new Cruiser Mark! :D And don't hesitate to call if you have any questions.

*sniff* I just walked into the garage, and it looks kind of bare.
