rabid- Cool, congratulations!

anyone interested - I am somewhat negotiatiable on the price and will consider reasonable offers.

No secrets here - I bought it for $11,000 from the original owner earlier this year. I did the complete service and fluid swap and all maintenance items after that. Then I added the OME suspension and ARB bumper.

I've never added it up, but including the purchase price, I've put something like $15,000 into it between April and now. Dang, I know I shouldn't add it up, now I know how much I spent. Argghhh.

One other thought - someone here already has dibs on the ARB bumper if the buyer of the 80 doesn't want it. He's local(ish) to me so that would work out well.

the '60 is spoken for...

I still have the supra and the trailer (although this is probably the wrong board for these). Make me an offer, the prices are dropping fast.

matt

width on trailer? and does it have drive over style fenders if I were to miss?

It's 84". I guess I would have to measure exactly what it is if you need that. No they aren't drive over fenders. My rig never came close to touching them.
I have a pic but it's on my machine at home.

Bump

I have seen lots of "good from far but far from good" ones but nothing that really fits the bill :frown: . Here is hoping that something new has come up in the last month or so.

Thanks

only shot of the trailer I could find....

Based on the phone number, my guess would be Colorado, Denver area. But that may be way off now that one can keep the same number on phones wherever they are...

Last price drop before it gets traded in. Thanks. $14,500 with all the extras listed. Still has under 75k miles on it.

South Denver.

He says that he installed a factory rear locker. Miles were high for my taste....but that's a good price in Colorado for sure.

Nay

?

"he" installed the factory rear locker?

That was too specific. I believe it was installed aftermarket based on my email conversation with the seller...that's a question to ask directly....I'll shut up now.

Nay

huh?

you mean the SC or the locker?

83 fj60

im just curious, i have a 83 fj60 230k, new carb, recent tuneup, runs killer, drives killer, interior is about an 8 out of 10, body is pretty staight, a little rust around the rear fenders, the pre-requisite arb bumper, sliders, and swingaway rear carrier/bumper, arb snorkel, 4:88's, arbs f/r, 35" goodyear m/t's, 2.5" ome lift, passes smog, every light, switch and gizmo works, is $5500 obo. a good jumping off point? its a little big for the rubicon, and im not really a yota guy, so any feedback would be nice, thanks. william.

I mean the locker. It has a rear locker, but not a front locker. If I have this correct, the owner had the factory rear locker installed relatively recently. If it had been a factory option, there'd be a front one, too....

Confirm when you drive it.

Around here, I would bet it would be hard to get over $5,000. An 83 in that condition without any of the mods would go for around $2500. Add half the value of the mods and you might get someone to look at it, but lots of similar rigs have gone untouched after months around here.

Having said that, location is a big factor.

Here's one, for instance:

yup.

you are correct. the past owner threw on a rear locker from another LC and put a toggle switch on the dash. nice rig, but 170k on a SC scares me...if it is still around when I get back from my busines trip next week, I will take it to Slee and have them look it over...
