It'd be easy to get into the US. You'd need to pay an importer about $300, along with some customs fees. Sounds like a real good deal on a nice 70 to me.

It's not that easy but there are a couple of people who use this site and have that kind of vehicle. Might go to the international forum and see the thread in the FAQs about importation.

96 Canadian Lx450 For Sale

with gas prices at almost $5.00 a gallon up here in Canada I'm contemplating selling my 1996 Lexus LX450 and possibly downsizing to a more fuel efficient Toyota - eiher a new Taco or Tundra. Anybody interested?? maybe trade for an older model Toyota 4x4?? Details of my ride - 121,000 miles - no lockers, body in exc. condition, a few cosmetic blemishes but absolutely no rust anywhere on body or frame. Frame has been totally sandblasted and rust protected and coated with extremely hard ''rockergaurd coating''. Tons of maintenance work done in the last 6 months.All fluids including front & rear diffs, transfer case, transmission, and radiator as well as brake fluid flushed and replaced with new. New plugs , and belts (OEM parts only) used.New brake pads all around replaced less than 2,000 miles ago, rotors turned and resurfaced, 4 wheel alignment done on 4 new Michelin LTX tires. Has real nice aftermarket aluminum mags , windshield replaced just a few months ago as well as new glass rubber. Leather interior is in exc condition as well - no rips or stains anywhere. Has aftermarket Alpine CD player. Custom rear drawer spare tire system in place of 3rd row seats (still have seats however) Truck looks and drives like new!! Anyone interested? - Price reduced to $19,500 Cdn OBO
