1991 80 Series lightly lifted/leather

Unfortunately, due to bills and changes in my life at the moment I need to sell my cruiser.

Ill start with everything I know about the truck. When I bought it, the truck would randomly not start. It would just click intermitantly, then eventually start. I put a new starter on it, and it continued to have problems. I got a new ignition harness installed and havent had the problem in months. I dont expect that it will come back.

The list of parts Ive installed since I got it last year.

Front brakes, rotors, calipers
Repacked birfs
Radiator, upper and lower hoses
Starter
Ignition harness
Ujoints in the front driveshaft
Headgasket
Valve cover gasket
Front rotors, calipers, and pads

The truck has an ARB front bumper with hella lights installed. The truck has 16" black rockcrawler rims installed with a set of tires I got off a stock 100 series. They have about 60 percent tread left. It has tan leather seats, including the third row.

The truck has new exhaust installed by the previous owner. It has a 2.5 inch OME lift. Heavy in the front and medium in the rear. It has the yellow mr. gasket spacers installed. The interior is in good shape, and the motor runs well. It has a K&N air filter in it. It ha ran mobil 1 since new, and the inside of the motor is in good shape(from the look I got during the headgasket).

The drivers side has some daamage as the previous owner drug a tree down it. It could use both drivers side doors replaced, but the rear quarter could probably be fixed easily. Honestly I was planning on using it for a trail rig, so the damage didnt bother me. The front drivers door works fine. The window rolls up and down easily with the switch, the auto locks work, and everything is good. The rear door doesnt have the controls in it, but will lock manually. So everything but the window works.

If your looking for a good solid truck thats had almost all the preventative maintenance done on it this would be a good candidate. There is almost no rust on the truck, just one little tiny spot on the rear hatch. The frame is perfect. The cosmetic damage is the only negative, but Im over 1000 under blue book.

Im asking 4500 with just the LX tires or 5000 with a set of 305/70R16 SSR's and the road tires. Offers will be considered.

Pictures will be posted tomorrow or you can email me at skyshark186@hotmail.com and I will get you some, as well as answer any questions.

Project FJ60 Wanted

Looking for a decent FJ60 for a project, interior condition not important, overall paint condition not important but should not have major dents or significant rust. Looking to spend up to $3K but preferably closer to $2K. Must be drivable/reliable enough to get me back to central TX.

PM me if you have or have any leads.

please send pics, locarion and more details on the truck to KJW002@shsu.edu

Placing the ad in the "For Sale" section may get you some more viewers.

Good luck on selling

Henry, if you find something in DFW and need it trailered down I'll be happy to haul it down for you.

I want to buy an "80"

I live in Georgia so the closer to there the better. I am hoping to find one with lockers (ARB or Factory), leather interior with all original equipment still intact and functional. I would prefer 1993/4 to 1996 models.

I'd prefer it to have as few cosmetic issues as possible. I plan on making it a trail rig, but still would enjoy to cruise it around town.

I don't know how much it would cost to ship one to Georgia, but I am assuming it would cost more than I need to spend. I would prefer to buy one from a member here than on ebay because I feel like you guys are more trustworthy. Having been in the Toyota family my whole life I have not met many Toyota people I don't like (besides some celica owners)

So there I have it, let me know what you got and I will let you know if I can physically get there.

Oh, the price range I am in. I would like something under $8,000 unless you got something that may require more wiggle room.
