I just updated the website with the price. Thanks for your interest.

Vote a: I would buy it for over 60k $
Vote b: I would for under 60k $ above 50k $
Vote c: under 50k $
D: hell no. Not even if I had the cash

I am not in the market for another 40 right now, but if I were, I'd vote C. There are a couple of little details that would bug me on this truck if I were spending $70k.

- There are no backup lights
- having extra gauges for the voltmeter, water temp, oil pressure and tach vs having them in the stock cluster or an aftermarket one
- having the addon gauges block the airflow out of the heater vents
- no skid plate under the transmission/transfer case

These little details can all be solved for not a huge amount pf money, but I wouldn't expect them to be there on a truck where the asking price is that high.

supply and demand..... il go with D. but if it had a 1hz in it or similar Toyota diesel id choose C

Wow you guys really see the drop in value in placing a Cummings in there. Seems like the truth behind this rig and the market is that there is a slim margin of fj40 looks enthusiasts while not loyal to the yota drive trains. I am shocked many of you said under 30k$ given the extensive body restoration and I'm assuming buying a 13bt or 1hz drivetrain and swapping it would cost less than 20$k (done right). Not my ride. No affiliation

C. And I REALLY want it. I can only imagine what he has in it, but true market value is almost impossible to assess.

I would pay $30k if I could afford it.

eehhhummmm "C" means under 50g. 1hz= lil noise & lil vibration. 4bt=big noise & big vibration in comparison. a rfurb fj40 with 1hz pro install=40g.

I want it just because of the interior condition and the fact that its diesel. Not really excited about driving a Cummings even though its a great engine mechanically. Should I wait for the right one or offer 35k$? The rear bumper, gauges, and missing tail lights would be the first few things I would have to change. And seal up some chipped spots. maybe swap in a Yota years down the line.
