Bummer, I can't make it now..

It was pretty fun. Dan, Bart, Steve, BK, and myself were in attendance. One 40, two 62s, and a toy truck.
That is some really nice property and some fun trails through gwnf. They were a bit more difficult than i was expecting, but Bart's stocker 62 muscled right through everything, then pulled around to run the fun stuff twice. It was pretty damn fun.
The air was frigid, but the sun was shining.
There was plenty of time for some firearm demonstrations too... :hillbilly:

pictures and video to follow...

Well after I swaped 3rd members, rebuilt leaf springs and then exhaust I figured there would be a few people staying the night so I got on the road but got there as every one was leaving. I hate I missed all the fun. Me and Dan traveled north together to 495 and he went north and I went south.

glad your trip wasn't wasted Matt...good thing you got that bearing tightened before the death wobble reared it's head again...

let's do it again in a foot or two of snow - who's game?

That made a huge difference in the steering. No more black trails for it. It wasn't wasted for sure. I am getting to spend the day with my wife.

and you win the award for "one hell of a driveway"

Yeah, sorry we missed you there. It would been nice to have met, and it would have been super-nice to check out that gorgeous 60 of yours. From the driver's seat, it looked brand new.

I'd be up for a snow run...

BK, thanks heaps for the tour of your back 40. Quite the enviable piece of property. Thanks again for the quick metal zip tie.

Everyone made a great showing on that nice set of ledges. I hope your dirt back stop doesn't get too much lead poisoning. What a great selection of armament!

Snow run sounds good...

Sorry I missed it!

Where did you guys end up going?

Am I reading this right. You used a zip tie

I broke off a muffler hanger and BK was nice enough to run a quick bead with his mig to reinforce/fix it. But there was a zip tie on there temporarily to hold it until we got to his shop.

All I know re the route, was we started at Union Springs Rd and ended up coming out near where we've camped in the past at Switzer's Meadow, then hit Rt 33 back to BK's.

Wish I could have made it.. I might be down with a snow run depending on the date.

Sorry I missed this, hopefully I can make the next one.

Any pics?
