Were there markets where the 1982 / 1983 40 Series had a fold down windshields but yet not the hood latches?

Most 40 series pictures from aussie dont have the hold down on the hood , i dont know if it is a trend or it is from factory

Brings up another question ….. Did only the North American 40 Series have the marker lights on the rear fenders?
