I'm doing a full clutch job and rear main seal on my 87 HJ60. I figured I might as well resurface the flywheel while I'm at it. Does anyone have the tolerances for a 2H flywheel. My local Napa asked for them before they do the resurfacing. If they grind a little much I was to make sure I properly shim it before reinstallation. Haynes indicates that light scoring can be removed with emory cloth. Perhaps this is all that nessesary. I just want to make sure the flywheel is still within spec, the truck has 500K. Thanks.

I do not know of any clutch manufacturer in Australia that will warranty a clutch if the flywheel has not been milled true. It has to come off to replace the rear seal so best get it done as it is quite inexpensive. cheers.

it is a two step flywheel, what ever you take off the high side you take off the low step...
i would suggest you take it to someone that knows what they are doing...

Thanks for the insight. That helps alot.
