I thought it might be helpful. Then again, I don't know AZ politics re land use/trail access, the who with whom against whoever...it seemed serious enough though, if 80% of trails in the area are threatened by closure.

Howdy! This is not an Arizona issue. It is a national one. We are just lucky that it has not got here till now. We should have learned from what has happened elsewhere that it is very serious. Refer to the "Wake up and smell the politics" thread from a week ago. It is some long, boring reading, but it's better than loosing the access to the boonies. I go to as many land use meetings as I can, but I work nights, and weekends, which sucks, and that's when most of the meetings are.

The bad news is
: The GREENIES are winning!!!
