The old sensor didn't want to come out! I ended up having to pick it out in little pieces. Luckily the O'Reilly's nearby had a sensor instock.

Thank you I appreciate that! Now I can quit stressing and get back to playing guitar😎
IMO with that amount of rust this won't be the first thing to stress over. That amount of corrosion won't be limited to one sensor. There will be more.

Clearly been discussed here but temps do really seem to have a notable impact on the overall "stickiness" of the CDL disengage. We certainly live in a location of temperature extremes up here in Edmonton but we also see road conditions that benefit greatly from using the CDL! I notice that any time temps are below -20C/-4F and I engage the CDL it will not want to fully disengage and I'm left with a blinking light. Mechanically it all seems to be operating just fine but it usually takes a long drive (30-40mins) or warmer temps to get the blink to clear. I'm tempted to do a full disassemble/reassemble this summer to see if there is some level of gunk buildup that is contributing to this but on days like today when it's below -30C/-22F its hard to blame a mechanical linkage for being a bit grumpy!
