Hi everyone, I wanted to know if there is a possibility to insert 4Lo without the central differential locking automatically; thanks to anyone who can give me a suggestion

Yes. 4lo does not automatically lock the center diff. (At least on US spec 200s). You have a button for locking the CDL on the left dash panel.

Hi, thanks for your reply but maybe we are talking about two different versions.
Mine is a manual and, when I insert the 4LO, automatically the central differential also locks.
My question is: is there some procedure to ensure that by inserting the 4LO the central differential does NOT also lock (which I then proceed to lock at my pleasure). Tks

The U.S. only has gas 5.7s with automatic transmissions. Yours is different and I don’t think you have a 5.7 engine either (not that that’s related to your question).

Do you have a button to lock/unlock the CDL? If so, not sure why it would be set up to automatically lock the CDl. Maybe that could be set differently with Techstream but IDK. Need someone from not in the US to help here.

Thanks for your kind reply, in fact mine is a 4.5 d-4d diesel, manual.

Yes, I have a separate button to engage the central differential; in fact I also supposed that I could use the 4LO without the central locked and then lock it at my pleasure.

What I can do is use the long gears with the central locked, but not the 4LO with the free central
