Looks like I need to save up for a supercharger then... lol@b16 In the Sierra or Rockies above 8000' to 12000', I had a hard time on stock gearing and 33s.
For example, loaded with my wife, two 60# dogs, plus all of our gear, the steeper eastbound Vail pass was only 24 mph, holding 2nd gear. The Sierra is only slightly lower.
Living and spending so much time at altitude was my motivator for a supercharger.
35s with 4" lift and armored with stock gears. Totally doable and I can blast up mountain grades.
