hello all just need quick hand identifying where this line goes from the top of the air cleaner. it came disconnected the other day when I was pulling the plugs and I can't find it's home.

Just looked on mine. That bigger hose goes down to the distributor cap. It keep the gas fumes from collecting in the dizzy and causing little explosions. (pops)

(edit)
Front range beat me to the answer while I was out looking at mine.

Bump on this with an additional question: Just replaced the cap, rotor, and wireset on my 62 last nite. This morning had hissing sound under the dash on the passenger side. Turns out the other hose on the cap runs to the firewall. Any reason it should be hissing loudly all of a sudden? Thanks!

Whoops, nevermind. After typing this, I realized the problem. I had knocked the vac hose off of a check valve on the charcoal filter (next to dizzy). When I installed the cap last nite, I found that hose along with the hose that vents the cap thru the firewall. Hence, the vaccum source in the cabin. When I put the right hoses on the cap and the vac hose on the valve, it miraculously started running properly again :).
