I am restoring this fuel pump bracket since they are basically not available. Looking for advice on how to properly repair or patch up two sections.
1. Where the blue wire attaches to the top of the fuel pump bracket, the plastic/glass protective cover has been broken. The wire is still connected, I am wondering if I can use a silicone sealer or a Kwik Weld to seal the top area to prevent any moisture from getting in?
2. The ring terminal on the ground wire is cracked. Can this be soldered or repaired without removing the entire wire? It is held to the fuel bracket by some sort of grommet that is not removable. Anyone know a safe way to replace or repair this?
Thanks in advance for any advice. - Randall
