done a bit of searching but nothing solid yet.

anyone have any insight on a way to pull the front diff without pulling apart everything??

can just the hubs be pulled to pull out the shafts enough?

thanks
Carl

You need to remove the hub, brake disc and caliper, spindle and dust shield as well. You don't have to remove the steering knuckle, but everything else has to come off.

Good chance to repack your bearings and replace the axle oil seals (upgrade to a Marlin Crawler seal).

look at it as good practice? The only way to pull the diff is to tear down all what 'Librarian said.

if you don't want to tear down the entire assembly
remove brake line
remove hub dial and snap ring on axle shaft
remove the rear halfmoon seal retainers
remove the steering arm and lower cap
remove the kingpin bearings
slide full assembly off

it is heavy and watch pinching your fingers getting the kingpin bearings out
