Does anyone have instructions/pictures/videos of how to rebuild the door lock actuator solenoid ? I thought there were motors inside the actuator that could be replaced?

It is a solenoid. No motor.

Hmmmmm, this "rebuild" is something I haven't gotten into trying yet. I've been wanting to source an old solenoid (they're basically solenoid based linear actuators, not motors) so I could tear into it without worry of destroying one of my own quasi-operational ones. This has me curious to take a look again.
