sweet

You should take this rig to GSMTR!

I may. If this is ready, NOT going without a cage, but working on that.

I used to take my FJ40 years ago. I am getting married in June, so we will have to see.

Here are the goodies I got in the mail..

Font diff with Lockrite already installed, Chromo birfs, and 2" spacers for the rear to match the front.

Chromo birfs are to replace this..

As you can see, I managed to break a birf with 31's and an open

diff! Even fragged the splines on the inner. Lucky for me, it was

long side, and I have a few from Mini's that were given to me by

friends who I installed 30 splines for in my garage.

Looks good! I just left NC a few months ago. You should check out NC4x4.com. Alot of good info and people over there.

Here are some rear wheelwell trimming pics for those who asked...

Obviously not done yet. Will go higher if i need to after some flex testing. There is ~ 400 lbs of scap metal in the bed in these pics, so it is not quite @ ride height.

And I def. gotta move that fuel pump wiring.

Kyle! Holycrap, your Wu-Tang Swordstyle is impressive.
Man you have made some progress fast. Your new job must be good!
I passed you on Westinghouse a few weeks ago. the 80 looks good/HUGE!

Hows that Old transmission? I may have some interest. May not since i dream of an H55 every night though.

Where you taken those test shots? Id love to tag along.

By the way, congrats on the wedding. i actually shot you a text today!

Not too bad... Any way you think you could get it lower if you wanted?

well I have stock springs in the rear but an add-a-leaf to the front cause it sat low so if I removed some leaves from the rear it would be about 1 1/2 in lower

but I like the brake over angle now and I'm lower than most the guys I wheel with that run 40's... too much lower and I think I wouldnt make it over some of the bigger ledges out here

any lower would be ALOT of work ... frenched spring mounts or 4 link

Here are the goodies I got in the mail..

before you bolt that all up ck the flange on that drop out looks like a small flange I think your 62 is also a round flange like my 60 so the bolt pattern if not correct ... I found out after I bolted the whole front back together:bang:
the locker can be swaped over if it not the same flange ... also it makes it a corse spline drop out

p.s. I like the cut swapers

Good eye, its from an FJ40. I got the drivesahft end too, so i'll use that for now, and swap locker over when I re-gear.

The swampers hook! East coast style. Lot of work though. Only done 2 so far.:wrench:

Thanks!
