For Sale:

1988 FJ62 Landcruiser
155k or less
Location: Greenville, SC
Price: $6500 OBO

I'm the second owner of this 62. Orginal purchased from Burke Toyota in Denver. Frame ws in pretty good shape, a few rust spots. First was on the passanger side fender. I ended up ripping it out when trying to take the snake binding off. I've ground the rust down with a wire wheel and put naval jelly on it. The rear passanger had some rust around the rear wheel. I grinded that down as well. I covered it in herculiner.

Mods:
Newer Ultra Heavy OME kit. CS005F with all the fixings.
Less than 2k miles on 33x10.5 BFG MT + 33x10.5 BFG AT Spare
New radiator and OEM hoses
New reman oem starter
Recently tuned up
New OEM waterpump/fan clutch
Front ARB
Recent oil change with 15w40 Rottela with OEM filter
New OEM air filter
New WTS unit
New yellow top battery

Bad:
It will need a new rear main seal in the future. Very slow leak.
A few dents - some pinstriping
Hood could use new paint
Leaks alittle rad fluid from a PHH. (i think its fixed)
Front axle needs to be services, bleeds alittle ( i have the parts with new wheel bearings/Marlin HD inner axle seals to go with the truck)

A few spare parts to go with it.

John,

Could you tell me the brand of bug guard on the FJ? I just moved back to Florida and Love-bug season is coming and i would like to have some protection for the paint. Thanks.

Mike,

I'm not sure. It was on my cruiser from the PO. I'll see if there is a brand on there when i get back to my cruiser.

Thanks
john

that is the factory bug deflector...i had one too and got rid of it as it wore the paint off my hood leading edge once the bumpers wore off or fell off from underside...

mine was bought through Toyota dealership back in 89 or 90 I think.

Be a good buy for someone that wont mind a little work on knuckle rebuild and a few other things.
