Excellent and complete runner engine with fuel injection. A440 Transmission with 150k miles. $1500 shipped

In line on the interest list if still available. Is pickup an option, pickup price, location?

I'm interested in the transmission is it still available? If it's still for sale, is it a functioning transmission & how are the splines on the output shaft? Where are you located? Can send pic's of it to: prosailortim@gmail.com

Not sure if this is legitimate. Contacted him 2 weeks ago to see if I could purchase the transmission & transfer case, he wanted a package deal on the engine tranny combo. 2 days ago he asked if I was still interested in the tranny & I said yes. Agreed to a price with shipping to Valley Hybirds so Georg can go through it for me. I wanted to make payment transaction through Paypal. He said that his account was hacked and was on hold for 90 days but would accept a Walmart to Walmart money transfer (his wife happens to work at Walmart). He added that he's 66 years old and dying of cancer & he wouldn't rip me off, that would be bad karma.

So this morning at 0430 I ask for him to take several pictures of the splines on the output shaft (different angles) and send me a copy of his state ID. I get a reply back that he has a local buyer that wants the engine tranny combo together.

Seems super sketchy to me, since this add is his only post on this forum.

He said the same thing to me too. I offered to pay the fees for an escrow service and he said he had bad luck with them and insisted on the Walmart transfer. I backed out of the deal, it seemed too sketchy.

I tried to buy this as soon as the ad came up. I always ask for pics. The guy could never get them to me.....said his grandson had to do it and he wasn't around. I waited and waited. Then he disappeared. Sketchy for sure.

The more I think of the email conversations I had with Tuker20 (David Tanner) the more I realize it was/is a total scam. Did he tell you where he lived? He said told me that he lived in Vancouver, WA. Here's one of

the pics he sent me.

His exact last words to me before I asked for his state ID and specific photos was:

"You are safe with me ,I'm a 66 years old man battling cancer and need all the good will i can get. What will be the gain of a dying man".

Unfortunately somebody will fall for his rap and get burned.

He emailed me thru Mud and then he emailed me to my regular email. I was wrong, I did get pics. Same one as above. I kept asking for pics of the stuff I wanted...air cleaner, AFM, harness, etc., etc. He said, "rest assured, you will get all the parts you requested". I've heard that before and it usually doesn't pan out. I kept asking about the other parts and he told me he was going to sell it to someone else. Weird.

Said he bought it for a car he was building from a buddy who took it out but got sick, sold his car and didn't need this motor.

Maybe not a scam. Who knows.
