FJ60 restoration change of color?

Guys, I have a friend who is getting a nut and bolt ground up restoration on a 86 FJ60 silver in color. He is always wanted a smurf blue 60 but should he keep it the original silver? Thoughts.

My personal thoughts is if you're going that far with it and have a chance to change it to your dream color I say go for it, as long as it's an original offered color for the year and model.
