I installed an fj62 rear sway bar today- My build date is May/86 and I had the connections on my rear axle. I ended up getting a new bar from toyota. It literally took about 10 minutes to put on, then I replaced all of my front sway bar bushings, again I just went with OEM. The ride is so much improved. I know some may ask why put a sway bar on, but I live in the mountains and the roads here demand a tight suspension. There is almost no lean now and it powers through turns with ease. I also added a flowmaster 40 series- sounds much better than stock.
