I installed an fj62 rear sway bar today- My build date is May/86 and I had the connections on my rear axle. I ended up getting a new bar from toyota. It literally took about 10 minutes to put on, then I replaced all of my front sway bar bushings, again I just went with OEM. The ride is so much improved. I know some may ask why put a sway bar on, but I live in the mountains and the roads here demand a tight suspension. There is almost no lean now and it powers through turns with ease. I also added a flowmaster 40 series- sounds much better than stock.
here are some pictures of installed

nice job :)

I have a rear that I want to install on bob. never actually seen one installed :D

The rear links were from Specter- forgot about that one.

Looks great. I assume you didn't have trouble with the exhaust getting in the way? I am!

BTW - The undercarriage of your cruiser is cleaner than my living room!!

No trouble with exhaust. I actually had the sway bar on before I went and got the exhaust done, just to be sure. After getting under there again I spent today touching up the undercarriage, if you get it that clean you got keep after it.

Looks good and nice pics, could you take a close up of how the sway bar attaches to the rear axle? I'm going to have to weld something on as my axle doesn't have the attach points.

I just finished doing the same thing. Bought a used sway bar setup from one of the guys here on MUD, my rear axle has the mounts, bought the extended links from SOR (which I might add were well made) I think the brand was Karson's or something like that. I had to cut my exhaust when I recently installled my suspenion lift kit. I'll have to get the exhaust revised now anyway. On the front sway bar links I used extended versions from MAF. I do need to get new bushings for the sway bars...that will have to be some time in the future.

I tired to resize one of my pics to highlight where the tabs are- hope this helps

The connection to rear end is just a three sided box welded to rear axle with a threadedhole in the portion facing rear.
