Ireplace the reqr shoes on my 83 fj60. new wheel cylinders,new shoes, and new soft rubber brake line. I bled the rears and test drove it and te rear brakes got tighter and tight as I drove. Do I need to bleed the front ans well? replaced the master cylinder 6 monthago and it wasnt showing these symptoms.

The standard brake bleed procedure is longest line from the reservoir to the shortest, so I would start bleeding the fronts as well, or maybe starting over and bleed them all in order.
the brakes adjusting tight has nothing to do with bleeding. others in here have had the tightening happen also, but it was after new shoes n hardware on the rear axle. if i recall correct, it was something to do with a washer or c-clip thickness. yeah, i'm too lazy to look for it

Yes you get kind of experienced diving under the rear with two screw drivers and readjusting the handbrake automatic tensioner.
It was mentioned that the width of the C clip provided with new, and compared to the original are a bit thin and then it could shift a bit when used.
And maybe the drums are worn out (oval?) and I still have to measure them but now it is fine, so ignoring it also works out.

...themselves. pretty much it. had issues a few weeks ago. got home that day and noticed a heavy brake aroma from the rear. looking closer the wheels were quite hot and looking under showed lite whisps of smoke from the drums. pulled everything apart and other than being to tight everything...
