A not-so-good shot of the rear bed platform...

headlight washers were always a factory installed item. If I remember right, after a certain date, they all came with them, it was just part of the "package" we got in the US.

My 84 FJ60 is an 'original' Florida model, has the headlamp washers but doesn't have those side mirrors. I sure wish it did!

Looks like the mirrors mount to the stock "mini" mirror holes on top.

Some OZzy on this board said they're OZ units a while back.

Told ya the washers started in '84!

Zcruiser, thanks for the post and sorry Im so slow to get back...I'll put some pics up of the platform by tomorrow. I got the idea from motomike (boulder,co) he has the same rig only desert beige (i think). It eats up the cargo area for your day to day, but is great for throwing the mattress down camping!
As for the mirrors, the guy I bought it from did very little and said it was all stock except for the carb/intakes/and tires. Right now Im having problems with my turn signal, see my thread (please!) https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=99861.
Anyhow, its great to have some folks near by, any trips planned soon??

my 88 4Runner came stock with those mirrors if that helps from PA

o and when "we" rolled it in to a snow bank the body shop couldnt get them any more @ 1996 nice big mirror too

I show in the FSM a "seat belt computer", its shows on the right kickpanel for a fj60. weather this is just a light or a buzzer I dunno. Pretty sure my 82 fj40 has the same, its on the right inside firewall.....and has been unpluged prolly sense 82

Here's a couple pics of the platform. Its split so when the rear seat is up they stack, but when the seat is down they cover the full length of the bed, making room for a full size inflatable mattress or whatever you need to haul. The holes in the side are just to make it lighter and easier to moved.
