He just put it on the truck about a week or two before he left town for business.

no offense, but I HATE cheapo welders, they suck, if you are planning on making a bumper or tire carrier etc they dont get enough penetration unless you pre heat,,,, I have never been happy with one of these once I used my miller 250's

notice it is set up for .025 wire,,, that is sheet metal work only maybe 1/8th with pre heat or if you are doing something in long stints as it heats the metal you will see better puddling

I know it is a lot more, but save your beans and get the miller 210,,, jmo

Mike, let me know what the total would be to 59105 and how you want the payment sent, you can PM me at larry05@bresnan.net thanks, Larry

I do all of my work with an SP175+. I wouldn't buy any welder that came from Lowes or HD. They will have their own part # seperate from the same model in a welding supply store and you won't be able to go to a welding supply store and order parts because they won't have a listing for it. Also, they usually come set up for flux core with provisions for gas. By the time you buy the regulator and accessories( becasue you will be welding with a shielding gas, right?. YES you WILL be welding with a shielding gas.), you could have just gone to a real welding place and bought one already set up. Go to a welding supply store to buy welding supplies. Go to Lowes to buy plumbing.

i've got three sets of fine spline in colorado...denver area. where are you?

Well, I need the parts ASAP.............18th is too late, thx for the offer though

I have some free rusty running boards if you want to try and make them work. Free and in Co....rust is all the way through the middle, 1978, bracket is rusted away as well.

i don't see how at 175 is a cheapo. sure it isn't as powerfull as your 210, but after having talked my best friend (runs his dad's 3rd generation family owned welding company) he felt like i wouldn't need anything larger for the type of stuff i've been doing (bumper, power steering, tire racks, etc). and as far as bumpers, i built mine with a CLARKE 135 (a different friend's welder), which is much cheaper then the LINCOLN 175.
we didn't pre-heat anything, but we DID have to make two passes in a couple of places.
you can see it here if you like.
